Course Objective

Contemporary housing construction systems will be described according to structural system, building element, joints and material properties in MIM.3621 Housing Technologies course. Properties of housing prefabrication technologies produced by the use of concrete, reinforced concrete, rolled steel, light steel, and massive and synthetic timber etc. materials will be given in this course with this aim.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The course is taught in a lecture, group research assignment, class presentation of a research subject and discussion format. All class members are expected to attend and both the lecture and seminar hours and take part in the discussion sessions.
