Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to allow students to learn the basic information regarding the field of biochemistry and integrate this information into the nursing field.

1   The student can evaluate clinical biochemistry analyses
2   The student can explain the structures, classification and metabolism of aminoacids
3   The student can explain the structures and functions of proteins and plasma protein
4   The student knows the structures of nucleic acids and can classify them
5   The student can explain the structures and classification of lipids
