Course Objective

This course aims to teach students the chemistry of alkaloids are an important class of biologically active compouds

1   Learn defination of alkaloids and predict which compounds obey alkaloids
2   Have a knowledge abaut history of alkaloids
3   Have a knowledge about classification of alkaloids and biolocical activity of alkaloids
4   Learn synthetic strategies of synthesis of alkaloids
