Course Objective

The aim of this course is to give students photochemical reactions of organic molecules and related concepts

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Have knowledge of the terms and concepts of Photochemistry of organic compounds;
2   Have knowledge of the thermal rearrangement and elimination reactions;
3   Have knowledge of the Photochemical excitation and photochemical reactions
4   Interpret the mechanisms of photochemical reactions;
5   Have knowledge of the cycloaddition reactions and molecular orbital symmetry and their stereochemistry
