Course Objective

1) To improve the skills about, land survey, topographic measurements and applications
2) To improve the skills about map use, cartometric evaluation on maps
3) To improve the skills about producing topographic maps

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering
2   Design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data
3   Function on multi-disciplinary teams
4   Identify, formulate and solve engineering problems
5   Use the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice

1 General and basic surveying knowledge, errors, types, rules and accounts
2 Techniques for the construction of maps and plans
3 Coordinate systems and map projections, UTM coordinates
4 Techniques for their use maps and plans.
5 Geographic Information Systems, GPS measurement technique and the use of architecture
6 Types of map making and photogrammetry, Architectural Photogrammetry and Terrestrial Photogrammetry
7 Single image method (method monoskopik)
8 Stereo image method
9 Bundle method
10 Geodesic length, angle and height measurements and calculation
11 Mid-Term Exam.
12 Electronic Theodolite and Nivo measurement techniques and calculation
13 Stereo photography and assessment of intake
14 Projection of the horizontal and vertical arrangement of historic buildings
