Course Objective

The aim of the course is to gain the students the ability to discuss multi-faceted problematic in conservation and preservation area. In the context of the course, the ongoing restoration Works, Preservation theory, legislation problems, analyzing cultural heritage buildings in the context of sustainability, preservation traditional buildings.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will be able to understand the methods of scientific works
2   Will be able to define the preservation values
3   Will be able to define and discuss the problematics faced in preservation practice
4   Will be able to interpret, criticize and revise the actual preservation methods
5   Will be able to raise critical approach to academic research
