Course Objective

In this course, it is aimed to describe the importance and methods of systematic approach to transportation problems and their solution; to investigate the relation between transportation system, socio-economic structure and transportation demand and discussion of decision mechanisms.

3   To compare transportation modes from different points of view.
4   To calculate choice proportions between transportation modes
5   To interpret the effectiveness of urban transportation systems
