Course Objective

The structure of timber and its physical and mechanical properties are explained within the scope of this course. The significance, mechanisms, and control of various causes of timber deterioration are discussed in detail.

3   to decide the selection of the special type of timber according to the requirements.
4   to compare the timber with other materials.
5   to take precaution against degradation of timber.
