Course Objective

The information about the cement raw materials will be delivered to the engineers specializing on this subject. Stages of the cement raw material manufacturing process will also be extensively explained.during the course

1   To become familiar with the terminology used in cement manufacturing
2   To learn the raw ingredients and mix ratios used in the cement manufacturing
3   To be able to explain the stages in the cement manufacturing and follow the new technologies in the process
4   To know the names and working principles of the equipments used in the cement manufacturing
5   To develop the analytical skills and ability to discuss using appropriate arguments.

9 Fuels and Furnaces used in the cement manufacturing
10 Cooling of the clinker and coolers
11 Grinding of the cement manufacturing and additives
12 Dust collection
13 Second mid-term exam
14 Cement plant flowsheets, cement manufacturing and the environment
