Course Objective

The aim of the course; capsulation technology used to gain functional properties of textile materials, application methods, application technologies and application areas, including laboratory work, and to provide information about the details.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To identify and distinguish nano and micro encapsulation technology
2   To learn the application of capsuls to textiles materials.
3   To learn microencapsulation and nanoencapsulation technology, application methods and to practise.
4   To characterize capsule and textile surface structure
5   To learn gaining functions with encapsulation technique.

In this course, previous researches in the related literature are discussed and class presentations are performed by the students.
Laboratory practices for chemical processes are performed in accordance with theoretical lessons. The students are responsible for laboratory practices about micro and nano capsuls applicated textile structures and class presentations for their findings.
