Course Objective

The course mainly focuses on the scientific measurement, sampling and evaluation technics/and or methods which are applicable to underwater research activities of any relevant scientific disciplines. However, the underwater archeology has a particular weight in the context of the course while the chemical, geological and biological methods will also be addressed on the basis of their applicability in archeological researches.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The course are based on the theoretical lectures strengthening with visual matearials. The opportunities for partial participating to any ongoing underwater research activities will also be sought for gaining filed practices. during the term, the student will be grouped for preparing a virtual research projects which will be presented and discussed in the class at the last two weeks.
