Course Objective

The aim of the course is to examine recreation as one of the most basic concepts of physical planning in conceptual and factual means. Discussions held during the course will evaluate the concept on scale of urban planning.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to list the concepts related to recreation
2   to describe the elements that constitute the need of recreation
3   to interpret possibilities and limits in involving the notion of recreation in physical space
4   to analyze development plans in context of physiological recreation
5   to integrate the features of physical planning approach with recreation
6   to evaluate the importance of recreational planning in formation of urban areas
