Course Objective

Content of this course covers; rural transformation theories and typologies within literature, Rural transformation and village research since the period of Turkish Republican, and the ability to learn the methods of these researches and do critical analysis, ability to evaluate rural transformation projects, and to develop the basis for research pre rural transformation and village researches.

This course will be given through lectures. Students will learn topics by attending and listening to the lectures and also by preparing and presenting the assignments.

Assessment Criteria

Listing (Knowledge), Defining (Knowledge), Distunguishing (Comprehension) and Discussing (Analysis) will be measured by Mid-term Examination. Implicating( Application), Discussing (Analysis) and Choosing (Analysis) will be measured by Homework.
