Course Objective

The aim of the course is to elucidate the main technical components of buildings for the non-architect students.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students, will be able to define the concept and types of the structural system (Knowledge)
2   Students will be able to recognize essential building materials (Comprehension)
3   Students will be able to describe foundation, floor, wall and roof systems in a building (Comprehension)
4   Students will be able to describe moisture and thermal protection in a building (Comprehension)
5   Students will be able to recognize building mechanical and electric systems (Comprehension)
