Course Objective

The main objectives of urban planning and organization at risk of an earthquake regions. The creation of earthquake scenarios, measures to be taken in urban areas, relevant laws and regulations. The phenomenon of earthquakes, social and psychological effects on people. Structuring and placement decisions need to be taken before the earthquake. The immediate aftermath of the earthquake, discussion of methods of temporary and permanent solutions

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Identifying the principles of construction and planning in seismic zones
2   Recognition, which is based on the concepts of earthquake scenarios
3   Interpretation of laws and regulations related to the earthquake
4   Interpretation the process of the pre-earthquake and post-earthquake
5   Analyzing the earthquake cycle process
6   Planning measures to be taken in the process of earthquake disaster
7   Organizing measures to reduce earthquake damage
