Course Objective

The main objectives of this course is to describe and to compare the physical features , design objectives and treatment capabilities of various types of natural treatment systems like land treatment, wetland systems, and aquatic plant systems and to discuss the expected quality of the treated wastewater from the natural treatment systems

1   Describe the types of natural treatment systems
2   Design natural wastewater treatment processes
3   State the process performance of different natural treatment systems
4   Differentiate the operation conditions of natural and conventional wastewater treatment systems
5   Select a natural treatment process for the specific characteristics of a wastewater
