Course Objective

To teach the definition and properties of biomaterials; to teach the main principles of materials science and engineering; to evaluate the biomedical use and applications of engineering materials; to investigate the properties of biological materials; to define biocompatibility, and to evaluate the biocompatibilities of several biomaterials.
