Course Objective

Initiated first in 1984 in Canada and based on voluntariness the Responsible Care Act is a principle which keeps human life, environmental and natural resources protection and better conditions in liveable environment at the forefront.
In the scope of rules which are applied now totally in 52 countries including Turkey, contains all studies for improving working conditions and environment in Chemistry sector.
The aim of this course is to introduce Responsible Care which aims the chemical industry plant to care about environment, human health and safety and give information about scope, rules and applications of it.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learn the Responsible Care Act;
2   Know its applications in chemical industry;
3   Gain information about basic principles and management rules of Responsible Care
4   Gain information about Responsible Care applications in the World.
5   Gain information about Responsible Care applications in Turkey.
