Course Objective

This course aims to make the musicology master students able to gather informations about selected subjects in the field with a literature review, discuss and present the results.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The students who succeeded in this course will be able; To review the literature about current advancements and topics related with his/her field of expertise,
2   To refine, analyse, interpret and assess the gathered informations with support of qualitative and quantitative data,
3   To provide scientific reports from hes/her research
4   To access and evaluate the printed and online international literature which are associated to his/her field of study.
5   To transfer the results to groups within or without his/her field of expertise in written, aural and visual forms.

Assessment Criteria

The literature review, data compiling, analysis and presentation skills of the students are measured with a report and it s presentation at the end of the semester.

1. Attendance to 70 % of lectures is compulsory.
2. Every kind of plagiarism is subject to official investigation
3. Deadline of assignments and presentations should be strictly followed.
4. Projects delivered after the deadline will not be evaluated.
