Course Objective

To reveal the general features and basic problems of the labour markets in Turkey and global scale and evaluate the policies concerning the subject.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to be able to understand the changes and problems that arise with the process of globalization,
2   to be able to analyze the basic features of Turkish labour market,
3   to be able to learn the qualifications and objectives of Turkey and EU Employment Strategy and employment policies and practices of its,
4   to be able to evaluate the changes and problems of labour market suffered by the process of globalization in respect to time and space in Turkey,
5   to be able to evaluate the effects of changing socio-economic conditions on employment policies in Turkey and in the global context.
