Course Objective

The course examines the relationship between changes in public administration and global political and economic processes. It looks at welfare state and its administrative structure in the post war era, and the spread of liberal economic policies after 1980s and the new approaches to public administration.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to develop arguments.
2   Be able to develop a critical attitude towards literature.
3   Be able to establish the relationship between administrative change and different aspects of socioeconomic processes.
4   Be able to build links between global political and economic changes and administrative structure.
5   Be able to explore the impact of global changes on individual countries.
