Course Objective

Regional development is becoming more bottom-up process. During this process, participation mechanisms and negotiations in these participation mechanisms effects the constitution of regional development. In the content of this lesson roles and effectiveness of all local/regional actors and tools at global competition will be evaluated.

1   Being able to know contemporary approaches about regional development and global competition
2   Being able to analyze actors and organizations at local and regioal level that effects regional polcy
3   Being able to evaluate factors that directs the dynamics of regional policy
4   Being able to develop strategies for local and regional policies
