Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to provide an ability to follow, evaluate and discuss the literature in relation to thesis topic for the students at the thesis stage with the leadership of supervisor. Additionally, it is intended to develop students skills and knowledge related to scientific research methodology and scientific ethics and guide them in their pathway to independent learning.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows how to reach sources of information in the field. 2   Follow and discuss literature in relation to thesis topic and also form a hypothesis for a thesis 3   Can write Turkish scientific text related to the field. 4   Can critises the scientific texts written in a foreign language 5   Has the ability to do scientific inquiry 6   Know how to collect and analyze information from different sources 7   Select and apply appropriate statistical research methods 8   Assumes full responsibility for lifelong learning and self-evaluation 9   Can share the Innovations and knowledges in the field with colleagues and the scientific community
