Course Objective

The aim of the lecture is to have knowledge of financial corporations that are engaged in money and stock markets.

Week Subject Description 1 General Information about financial corporations. 2 Istanbul Stock Exchange(ISE) and Its Operations 3 Operations of Deposit,Investment, Development and Participation Banks 4 Futures and Options Exchange Market(TURKDEX) and Operations of TURKDEX. 5 Credit Rating Corporations and The Importance of Credit Rate for financial corporations. 6 Monetary Policy of Turkey's Central Bank and Analyzing Its Balance Sheet and financial analysis of banks 7 IMF, Operations of World Bank, Its relationship with Turkey and Effects of Economical Development on financial corporations. 8 Operations of Intermediary firms. 9 Operations of individual retirement firms. 10 Operations of SME markets. 11 Corporate principles on stock markets. 12 Independent auditting on money and stock markets. 13 Students Presentations 14 Conclusion and Evaluation
