Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to achieve a necessary understanding of the process of the foundation of the republic and the revolution; the period of single party; the transition to the multi-party system

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   define the political and judicial processes in the foundation of the Republic of Turkey
2   compare the struggle for the multi-party system
3   correlate with the main external political problems and their effect on the internal politics
4   analyze the characteristics of the period of single party
5   explain the transition to the multi-party system
