Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to achieve a necessary understanding of the strategic position of Balkans, the nationalist movements that were emerged in the 19th century, and the roles of these movements in the history of Turkish civilizations and the world.

3   The relationship between the nationalist movements and the French Revolution
4   The role of Balkans in Turkish social structure in terms of immigrations
