Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to achieve a necessary understanding of the political ideas from the Modern Age to present

1   Have knowledge about the sources of the History of Political Thoughts
2   Have knowledge about the theoretical picture emerged from the developments in the political ideas in the modern world
3   Evaluate the historical developments in the political ideas from the Enlightenment Age to present
4   Interpret Hobbes, Locke, Kant, Marx, Comte, Durkheim, Frankfurt School
5   Analyze the modern political approaches
