Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to achieve a necessary understanding of the nature of internal rebellions in the history of the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Turkey

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Have knowledge about the basic characteristics of the riots through the history
2   Have knowledge about the riots occurred during the period of the Ottoman Empire
3   Comprehend the efect of the riots on the political, administrative, and social structure of the Ottoman Empire
4   Have knowledge about the nature of internal rebellions happened in the Republican Era
5   Comprehend the efect of the riots on the political, administrative, and social structure of the Republic of Turkey
