Course Objective

The aim of this course to teach Knowledge and Types, The Paradigm Shift and The Idea of Quantum in Scientific Thought, Knowledege Technology; microelectronics and microbiology, Knowledge Generation and Sharing, Human Capital, Education and Learning and Learning Organization, Active individuals, Continuous Improvement, Innovation Concept and Techno Park and Techno Cities, Innovation and Competitiveness, Innovation and Globalization, National Technology Policy and Strategy, Strategy for sustainable technological development in Turkey.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to learn the basic concepts of Knowledge, Science and Technology
2   . To be able to understand the theories based on technology and technology policies
3   . To be able to develop technology-based strategies
4   To be able to make a seminar presentation sufficiently in a matter that within the scope of course; to write an essay which is consistent and coherent and also suitable the rules of academic writing and references
5   . To be able to communicate ethical and cognitive participating in classroom discussions, to make evidence-based argumentation, to defend ideas effectively
6   To be able to create and solve problem is based on the theoretical foundations in the face of empirical events

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The course is taught by lecturer which is resposible for the course to the classical method and also participants will do research and participate in discussions on the subject. In this context, class attance and class participation is particularly important for those who are required to take course and it is important to determine the performance of mid-term and final. In addition, participants should read articles that will be dedicated previously and that it should be considered a positive impact on their performance. Should be active participation in courses and also each participant responsible for preparing a research paper (term paper). This research paper have to hand in end of the course also it will be presented within the term. It should be written in accordance with the rules which are the format of a research project and writing of scientific publications. It shouldn t exceed the page of 20 (twenty) and at the latest at the date of announcement of the final exam will be handed and also it is expected to successfully present at the date that will be declared .
