Course Objective

The aim of the course is to analyze the approach of region, new regional policies, rural and urban regional planning and administrative structurings in ensuring efficiency in urban services and to evaluate the success of these structurings for sustainable cities

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Acquainted with Regional administration main principles and international elements.
2   Conscious of theoretical models concerning with regional administration and main crisis.
3   Recognizing main legislation and international principles while providing fundamental public services related to regional administration.
4   Become skilful at determining and preventing the problems, understanding administrative and political improvements for regional conflicts which are concurred the past.
5   Getting familiar about European Council Regional Approaches.
6   Foreseeing structures oriented regional development strategy for Turkey.
7   Become skilful at ability of using proceeding techniques for regional reconciliation strategies.
