Course Objective

Nowadays, the rising interest to the concept of governance indicates that the external factors can play various roles in the market economy. Therefore, this course aims to give students an appreciation of the transformation effects of governance both on labour relations and the role of state.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Tell theories relating labour relations governance
2   Recognise the implications of governance on social parties
3   Examine the implications of governance on collective action methods and procedures
4   Debate the implications of governance on labour standards
5   Relate the labour relations governance to the principles of social politics
6   Appraise the sustainability of labour relations governance in recognition of principles of social politics
