Course Objective

To teach specific aspects and place of Kemalism in these currents by discussing development processes of modern political currents which arised starting 19th century and how affected 20th century

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to understand the relation of life of thought with political and economic transformation
2   To be able to inform about characters and orientations that made contributions to life of thought development in the world
3   To be able to apprehend thoughts that form Republican ideology
4   To be able to discover the fundamental aim of Kemalism that aims to carry Turkey and Turkish society to modern civilization level by guiding intellect and science
5   To be able to discuss whether Kemalism is one of modern political currents although it's a kind of its own
