Course Objective

Course Objectives: In the course where the different types of reading while getting a close look to a theater text, the issue dealed is different points of view in survey while centering the text. Especially today, the tendencies are rather more common than the movements and a range of various styles than genres and that brings us to open the texts with different readings. Contemporary tendencies epic-absurd, in-yer-face, modern, postmodern, postabsurd approaches reflected in the plays will be studied. As well as constructivist, semiotic, deconstructivist approaches, meta theater concept, what is added to the text with different critical theories will all be included in the presentations and discussions.
