Course Objective

How the modernist designers deal with the social issues, in order to develop a common dialogue how design and art serves as a public power, if there had been other eastethic applications that design could solve the problem with social and ideological perspective and to make the student think and over sea every thing through this pers pective is the main purpose of this course. on the other hand

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student shall ve able to examine modern graphic design theories, philosophy, practices and principles of the design schools at an advanced level with a view to analytical grasp
2   Student shall develop an analytical, conceptual and critical point of view by analyzing the effects of economical, technological and ideological factors on modernist graphic design at an advanced level.
3   Student shall be aware of the World War s effects on public, culture and design culture.
4   Student shall be able to make theorical readings about how the printed media change the existing design culture, develope and maket he designers become more free on their design expressions and will be expected to prepare research papers and make presentations on those topics.
5   Student shall be able to look over to delelopement of a new designers expression through different perspectives.
