Course Objective

This course aims at protecting from radiation of patient, environment and health workers providing radiation safety on the diagnostic and therapy equipment. However it describes biological effects and risks of radiation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to describes the radiation and applies to radiation protection rules
2   Being able to plans in order to ensure to radiation safety of the diagnostic and the therapeutic equipment rooms
3   Being able to recognizes and uses of radiation measurement devices
4   Being able to makes dose measurement and knows calculation methods
5   Being able to define radiation protection and security-related authorities, laws, rules and regulations
6   Being able to prepare hazard contingency plans in the working department with radiation

2. Every trial to copying will be finalized with disciplinary procedings.
3. The instructor has right to make practical quizzes. The scores obtained from quizzes will be directly added to exam scores.
