Course Objective

Visualizing statistical information which can be followed and understood easily by the related users.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to understand the term data on behalf of information design and graphic design.
2   To be able to work well with visualization of datas and its esthetical beauty.
3   To be able to divide and run a natural process into sub divisions.
4   To be able to plan for each information design process.

1 Information design history.
2 Introduction to the statistical graphics. Reading statistics, case study.
3 Project 01: Visualizing statictics.
4 Working on first step. Sketches on paper.
5 Working on second step. Sketches on paper.
6 Presentation and critics. Project 02: Collection raw datas from various sources in order to transform into statistics.
7 Working on first step. Sketches on paper.
8 Working on second step. Sketches on paper.
9 Working on third step. Sketches on paper.
10 Presentation and critics. Project 03: Design a multi dimensional visualization on statistical graphics.
11 Working on first step. Sketches on paper.
12 Working on second step. Sketches on paper.
13 Working on third step. Sketches on paper.
14 Presentation and critics. Final evalution.
