Course Objective

To teach developing uncommon design approaches for boks by discussing within the contexts of object book, art/artist book, autograph book; to develop alternative and experimental production capabilities by studying contemporary forms of expression.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to build a book as a design object 2   To be able to develop experimental approaches on book design 3   To be able to design publications containing typography, images and typography and image combinations 4   To be able to build author identification as a designer 5   To be able to use varied materials for book production 6   To be able to obtain knowledge about contemporary art and design relations
