Course Objective

Firstly students are aimed to learn basic elements of construction to text. Students are focused on paragaph and page layout systems for generate a text. To teach page layout, negative-pozitive space, visual-text relation etc.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to have the principles of construction a text and usi it in practice
2   To be able to create emphasis on page
3   To be able to show on workshop an emphasis on readability and legibility
4   To be able to construct creative and different page layout for a good design
5   To be able to choose the best typeface to design and transfer the message in an effective way
6   To be able to solve the problem given, in the best way and finalized the job.
7   To be able to use the knowledge gained with professional and artistic fields and maintain life-long learning

2 Choosing project and gathering information.
3 Classification of the information and sketches.
4 Critic on sketches. Choosing a sketch and transfering to computer.
5 Critic on sketches.
6 Finishing the choosen sketch.
7 Presentation, Critic and Jury.
8 Project II: Poster Design. Visual-text relation, create emphasis on design surface and layout are examined with examples and stabilized by design project.
9 Gathering information and sketches.
10 Critic on sketches. Choosing a sketch and transfering to computer.
11 Finishing the choosen sketch.
12 Project III: Facebook Event Page Banner Design. Visual-text relation, create emphasis on design surface and layout are examined with examples and stabilized by design project. Working on sketches.
