Course Objective

This course aims to help the student to assimilate on professional level the means of expression that constitutes plastic language by exploring color, line, form, composition and etc. through his or her own experience.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student is expected to attain knowledge about such issues as harmony/contrast and weight/balance through chromatic and achromatic colors.
2   Develop interpretive and creative solutions to the problems of color, form and composition
3   Gain knowledge of expressive qualities of color
4   Develop a conceptual as well as practical understanding of color in the context of composition
5   Develop and awarness of the plastic problems of painting
