Course Objective

to improve skills like visual understanding and kinetic keyboard manipulation using piano repertory for beginners, major, minor and chromatic scales, chords and arpeggios.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   play paralell scales and arpeggios in different tones with right technique
2   apply the articulation techniques accurately in the piano pieces
3   interprete more complex musical terms about dynamics, tempo and expression.
4   play different piano pieces form different ages including various techniques
5   demonstrate acceptible musical expression skills at piano

2 Practicing the pieces. Scales an arpeggios
3 Practicing etudes toward piano pieces
4 Age and sylistic features of piano pieces, non-legato technique
5 Accurate tempos and dynamics of pieces
6 Practicing pieces, etudes, scales and arpeggios
7 Chromatic scales, desiding new pieces and sight reading
8 Musical phrases of pieces
9 Accurate tempos and dynamics of new pieces
10 Mid-term exam
11 desiding new pieces and sight reading
12 Musical phrases of pieces
13 Accurate tempos and dynamics of pieces
14 Final jury evaluation

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The student level of piano technics and repertory are assigned by the instructor and every student is given the syllabus is assigned by the instructor unless under the program level.
Lessons are doing individual. In these lessons, instructor explains learning subject at piano using piano sheets and gives feedback and homework etudes after the student playing.
