Course Objective

This course will enhance students' writing, reading, speaking and listening skills with the use of communicative approach.
To facilitate their acquisition of intercultural communicative competence.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learning tourism specific vocabulary and language needed in the field at upper-intermediate level.
2   Reading comprehension of English texts at upper-intermediate level.
3   Providing effective use of field specific terms and language and reinforce oral communication in the workplace.
4   Writing in target language in the field at upper-intermediate level.
5   Presenting real-life situations in the class.
6   Reinforcing a positive attitude towards cultural variety and multiculturalism.
