Course Objective

Objective of this course is to make cinema as a mean of communication, and its ways of association with a society understandable on aesthetical, historical, political,economical and cultural aspects.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student is able to obtain detailed knowledge about association of cinema and society.
2   Student is able to understand key role of cinema both as popular cinema and art cinema in a society.
3   Student, at the end of this course,is expected to understand role of films in a communication process.
4   Student is to be able to obtain any detailed knowledge how films could affect individulas perceptions, thoughts, judgments, and behavours in a society.
5   Student is expected to be able to analyze films and other media products critically.
