Course Objective

The aim of this course is to instruct the historical process of the categories and their evolution in cinema history. Furthermore, the connection between the changes under the historical and social conditions is given, and assessments related to a category will be instructed by observing its process in cinema literature.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   . know the history of the world and Turkish cinema,
2   approach the cinema in terms of categories after the course,
3   comprehend the features of the films and use them into their own studies,
4   comprehend the resolution methods to analyse the films,
5   have extensive knowledge about form and content resolution of films.
