Course Objective

In this course, it is aimed to put emphasis on what feeds cinema types and their supports, and to assess the type by observing its development in cinema literature. Afterwards, it is aimed to teach its evolution in cinema history and its changes in historical and social conditions.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

1-Students are supposed to come to the lessons ready by studying at home and in libraries.
2- Lessons have to be given by seminar studies together with the students and by overall attendance.
3- Students are expected to come to the lessons with wide knowledge.

Assessment Criteria

The criteria involve the revision of the previously gained knowledge within the newly gained knowledge, and the determination whether or not the creative, free and systematic thinking have been analyzed, and encourage the students in this way.
