Course Objective


Students who will research and investigate about documentation and restitution to make a protection study of tile that is an object and filler position in architectural surface are provided information about designing and implementation studies to support the academic level of their artistic works in addition to student s thesis.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

In this course, it is important for students to search reproduction techniques which are used for restoration of tiles that are an object and filler position in architectural surface. However, students are provided information about documentation, restitution and importance of restoration as applied.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Students will be given a mid-term and a final exam concerning the subjects given theoretical. The pass grade will be determined by the midterm, final exam and restitution grades.

Assessment Criteria

The midterm, the restitution studies and the final exam will be evaluated out of 100. The evaluation of the two exam questions will be given to the students.

Course Policies and Rules

Students who come from after starting time of the course, even taken to the course, will be evaluated as participant a half-time. At the end of each lecture topics will be covered in the next lesson and the students are offered as a subject of their studies. The course begins before the first presentation of the studies.
