Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the students to evaluate art of tiling in history, and to teach them the form and pattern features of the ceramics in the Seljuk period.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   know the history of tiling in the Seljuk period
2   learn the form and pattern features of the tiles in the Seljuk period,
3   recognize and classify the tiling works in the Seljuk period,
4   interpret the Seljuk period and make original designs,
5   present their designs and interpret them.

This course will be done both theoretically and practical. Practices will be evaluated in terms of the Seljuk period tiles
