Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the history of General Ceramics-Tile, and the general and technical features of Seljuk ceramics both theoretically and practical.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The lesson will be given both theoretically and practical in the course schedule. The applications will intensify on Seljuk ceramics-Tiles. The results will be discussed in the lessons.

Because of being both theoretical and practical, the course will be evaluated by the assessment of theoretical information and application results.

Assessment Criteria

The course will be evaluated by a final exam, a mid-tem exam, a project and laboratory studies.

Because the lesson will be given in a laboratory, the previously determined rules are supposed to be obeyed to provide a healthy atmosphere. Attendance is compulsory.
