Course Objective

The aim of this course is to instruct how the textile technique and art has come into being since it existed thousands of years ago in different parts of the world.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   know where textile was first seen as a production, 2   define textile techniques which are used, 3   be informed of the technical range in accordance with the geographical regions in the world, 4   be informed of the textile route between the east and the west, 5   be informed of the outbreak and continuing period of textile as an art, 6   present his study by means of the information he has gained.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

After instructing about the history of textile, we aim to discuss regional and technical subjects after translating some texts about different textile applications in different parts of the world.
