Course Objective

The aim of this course is to make designs and applications starting with natural objects after examining the historical style features and origin of patterns and compositions in court fabrics which are the most important one in our traditional fabric art.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The students will make use of the lesson notes and researches of the instructor in this course. They will also perform a visual presentation, and their application works will be realized in the workshop under the supervision of the instructor.

In evaluation criteria, the researches on the subject the students have done , the project and design works will primarily be considered.

Assessment Criteria

Project and presentation will be evaluated out of 100.

80 % attendance is compulsory. Workshop study is significant. Design applications should be completed in the lesson.
