Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach techniques, equipment, theories and rules of the projects and applications which are necessary for the conservation of illuminations, especially, the ones whichare involved in architecture are of top priority.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Document all of the conservation and application stages by means of tecnical reports and drawings.
2   Learn and apply the rules , basic concepts which are necessary for the conservation of the illuminations in architecture,
3   Learn and use the project and application techniques in conservation studies, in general terms,
4   .Document all of the restoration and aplication stages by means of tecnical reports and drawings
5   .

2 Research and analysis studies related to the illuminations in the buildings to be conserved
3 Analysing the subject of the conservation project
4 Arranging the data of the conservation project

7 .Processes tecnics reports and projects
8 The materials, equipment and production technique researches for conservation and repair project

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

We aim to have the students comprehend the analysis study to be done before the conservation studies. The students are expected to learn and use that analysis together with the application techniques . Moreover , the students are to learn and apply the materials and repair techniques on the construction.
The students are to foresee and apply the application stages in conservation studies ; carry out a common project with different disciplines.

Assessment Criteria

Student studies will be evaluated by considering their learning and using the illumination conservation, by the content of assignments and projects and the quality of presentation, the applications of suggestions.
